Smoke bush

The Cotinus Coggygria is commonly called smoke bush or smoke tree for its whispy flowers that spring up like puffs of smoke.  I find it curious that in autumn some, but not all, of its leaves display wonderful patterns.  I also love the range of colors on a single bush.
