I was captivated by the vibrancy of the red poppies growing at Jello Mold Farm.  Not surprisingly, I took a lot of photos of them.  So many that I decided they needed their own post.  Enjoy!

Your red poppies remind me of the stunning “Weeping Window” installation of red ceramic poppies for remembrance of the centenary of the Battle of Jutland.

Your photos are wonderful — and fitting after reading today’s (and Monday’s) word of the day, ponceau. Your heading could read ponceau or vermeil in place of ‘vibrant red’. 🙂 http://wordsmith.org/words/today.html
