Your post makes me realize I’ve not seen any acorns yet this year. It’s actually too early for us, but they may be sparse this year. I heard on the outdoor show on the radio that there aren’t many in the hill country, so the deer feeders will be doing a good business.
I especially like the photo of the circled acorns: all brown, except for the one that’s green.
