Oh, my. I’ve never seen such a series, and it’s wonderful. I’m wondering why I’ve never noticed such reflective puddles around here. Then I realized: most of the time, if I’m in a place where there are puddles, there aren’t any trees. And where the trees are, there often aren’t sidewalks to collect the water. I need to spend more time in nature centers or parks, where there are both.
And re: the issue of reading, I just found this, which I think you’ll recognize and enjoy.
Love the reading passage — I try not to spend much money on books anymore. The library copies are fine. I think this has to do with my realization that I won’t be able to reread all the books I have on my shelves in my remaning years, so why put more on the shelves?
One of my librarian colleagues mentioned that when her mother died, all the ebooks on her reading devices were lost. Unlike print books, the licenses apparently cannot be bequeathed. I hadn’t thought about this kind of loss with ebooks. I have many print books that I would like my daughter to have and hopefully cherish like I did.
