June 28, 2014

And here are some photos of the festivities taken before I started work today at the Greenwood Branch Library, right in the midst of the color and cool cars:

Love the red and green wheels, and the fuzzy dice, but most of all I love that last photo, with the wheel-cut (?) glass. Such an elegant touch!

  2. Renee Says:

Americans sure love their cars. I wonder if any other country has this obsession.

  3. Diana Studer Says:

we saw a string of cherished vintage cars, out on an excursion, last time we came home from Cape Town!

    • Rosemary Says:

That reminds me of seeing a long strong of tractors on the road in the Netherlands! Always a fun surprise when things like this happen.

  4. Carol Says:

How fun. Third picture down shows my brother peering under the hood of a car. His 1964 Impala Convertible is always in the show and believe me, that car is pampered. This is his favorite day of the whole year. Now he is immortalized in one of your photos.

    • Rosemary Says:

Carol, I had no idea that was your brother. I would have said hello and asked him to show me his car.
