    I have a raspberry bush also but like my berries darker and sweeter

    I think the most rousing quality of raspberries is their apparent dustiness. It gives their sweetness the quality described.

      I see the dustiness on the berries, but never realized that this was so characteristic of this fruit.

        Not necessarily actual dust, but just the look of them. The little hairs when they catch the light. In my experience, at least, lol.
