Bed of blooming hellebores, Jello Mold Farm

There was one flower that was blooming in profusion at Jello Mold Farm this time of year — the hellebores.  They grew an amazing variety, as you can see below.

    Beautiful! I love that last one…have never seen that one before and your sketch of it, is perfect! I bought one this yr. for the first time in January and it is still full of blooms! 🙂

      The best intentions and all that . . . Yes, sometimes when I go on an outing, like my drive to the Skagit Valley and Whidbey island, I end up with enough images for several posts, which I like to parcel out day by day. But right now, back home, so much is happening in nature — blossoms popping out all over — that I have enough to write and blog about just by looking out my door. Thus the xtra weekend posts.
