I haven’t been painting as much as I’d like in the past month, so it felt good to take up a brush again.  Here are my first attempts after a long break:

    People who can paint amaze me. Your watercolors are lovely. Still, I must confess I like the first photo the best, mostly because I’ve never heard of this flower, and the photo is such a beautiful presentation of it!

    I might try this flower next year. Never seen it before.

    I’ve learned to recognize our sneezeweed now, and it’s somewhat different from yours. The ray flowers are much smaller, and often yellow, for one thing (well, for two things). It was delightful to see these again.
