Seattle Summer Streets celebration on Greenwood Avenue North

Greenwood Avenue North was closed to vehicle traffic.
About 20 blocks of Greenwood Avenue North were closed yesterday evening for a Seattle Summer Streets celebration. Our north Seattle neighbors took back the streets and celebrated with games, art demonstrations, music, dance, and food. The festivities were well attended and fostered a sense of community among people of all ages. Here are some of the many celebrants having fun:

The Bubbleman draws an excited crowd

Playing games in the street

Great shot of Earl in the Kitten Kissin’ Booth! Would you mind if we used it in our PAWS blog post about the event (with credit, of course)?
