And are we not all grateful for the “good” things…family, friends, sustenance. These warm us and fill us and soften all the edges.
Thank You for the difficult, the painful, the delayed, and yes, even the excruciating (and oh, have we not experienced so many?) is the door into silence, patience and rest. What appears a hard-ship is purely the vessel that conveys us through life ocean, immersing us, bathing us, safely, over rough waters, humbled in grace and nobility.
