The riches of sea-born treasures

The riches of sea-born treasures

“I wiped away the weeds and foam,
I fetched my sea-born treasures home;
But the poor, unsightly, noisome things
Had left their beauty on the shore
With the sun and the sand and the wild uproar.
     — Ralph Waldo Emerson, “Each and All”

    I’ve been having fun catching up on all the entries that I’ve missed while we were away on “vacation.” We were in Seattle for that heat that you fled to the coast to escape, so I’m especially enjoying the cool coastal images and words. Thanks for providing that vicarious pleasure!
